This session is geared towards new teachers and those who would like to know more about how to develop young writers. It will examine the developmental stages of writing, demonstrate ideas for authentic writing opportunities, and show how writing enhances comprehension of other content areas. There will also be time to discuss and plan for how to incorporate these strategies into your classroom. Participants will need to bring a charged device.
